Overview
CPS, also known as Control and Protective Switching Devices, is a new type of product in low-voltage electrical appliances. It is the first generation of products developed in China in the 1990s to fill the domestic gap. As a new product category, its product code is "CPS", which is an abbreviation for "Control and Protective Switching Devices" in English. It complies with the standards of IEC60947-6-2 (1997) "Low Voltage Switchgear and Control Equipment Part 6: Multifunctional Electrical Appliances Section 2: Control and Protective Switching Devices" (first edition in August 1992) and GB14048.9-1998 "Low Voltage Switchgear and Control Equipment Multifunctional Electrical Appliances (Equipment) Part 2: Control and Protective Switching Devices (Equipment)" (equivalent to). The main feature of the SSKBO series control and protection switchgear is to achieve integrated and internally coordinated control and protection functions on a single structural form of product, which can replace various traditional separate components such as circuit breakers (fuses), contactors, overload (or overcurrent, phase failure) protection relays, starters, isolators, and motor comprehensive protectors. KBO has the function of both remote automatic control and on-site manual control for control operations, with coordinated time current protection characteristics. It has self coordination of control and protection, continuous operation after short circuit, high breaking ability, small arcing distance, long service life, adjustable protection setting current, convenient operation, and various supporting accessory modules. It can achieve control and protection of motor loads and distribution loads
The emergence of the SSKBO series control and protection switchgear fundamentally solves various problems caused by unreasonable control and protection coordination due to the use of discrete components (usually circuit breakers or fuses+contactors+overload relays) in traditional methods. Especially, it overcomes the phenomenon of uncoordinated protection and control characteristics when electrical products with different assessment standards are combined together, greatly improving the operational reliability and continuous operation performance of control and protection systems

Reversible Control and Protection Switchgear SSKBON: The SSKBO basic type is used as the main switch, combined with mechanical and electrical interlocks and other accessories to form a reversible control and protection switch, suitable for reversible or bidirectional control and protection of electric motors
Dual power automatic transfer switch device SSKBOS: Products with a rated current of 125A or below use the SSKBO basic type as the main switch, combined with mechanical interlocking, electrical interlocking and other accessories to form a CB or PC level dual power automatic transfer switch device ATSE; ATSE with a rated current of 125A or above is classified as PC level. Function and purpose
SSKBO adopts a modular single product structure, integrating traditional circuit breakers (fuses), contactors, overload (or overcurrent), phase failure protection relays, starters, isolators, motor comprehensive protectors, and other low-voltage electrical products. It has the main functions of remote automatic control and local direct manual control, panel indication and electromechanical signal alarm functions, overvoltage and undervoltage protection functions, phase failure and phase loss protection functions, undercurrent and underpower functions, and load regulation coordination time current protection characteristics (with four protection characteristics of overload inverse time limit, timed limit, short circuit instantaneous, and super short circuit instantaneous). By selecting functional modules or accessories as needed, various types of motor loads can be controlled and protected
SSKBO is mainly used for AC 50HZ (60HZ), rated voltage 690V, main rated current from 6.3 to 125A, intelligent control adjustable working current from 0.16 to 125A, and control motor power from 0.05KW to 55KW in power systems. It can connect, carry and disconnect current under normal conditions (including specified overload conditions), and can connect, carry and disconnect current under specified abnormal conditions (such as short circuits)

The SSKBO series control and protection switchgear integrates control and protection functions, equivalent to circuit breakers (fuses)+contactors+thermal relays+auxiliary appliances. It effectively solves the problem of matching protection and control characteristics between components that cannot or are difficult to solve with discrete components, making the coordination of protection and control characteristics more perfect and reasonable (with inverse time limit, timed limit, and instantaneous three-stage protection characteristics). Compared with molded case circuit breakers, it has the characteristics of high breaking capacity and small arcing distance
SSKBO has a short-circuit breaking capacity Ics (o-co co) of 80kA for high breaking type and 12KA for standard type at 380V rated operation. The breaking time under the expected short-circuit current of 12kA is only 2-3ms, and the current limiting coefficient is below 0.2, reaching the leading level of plastic shell circuit breakers and approaching the current limiting level of fuses. This greatly limits the dynamic and thermal impact of short-circuit current on the system, and the arcing distance is less than 30mm

The SSKBO overload protection current can be adjusted on the panel according to the load power. Compared with the performance of contactors, it has the characteristics of long service life and easy operation
The mechanical lifespan of SSKBO is 500-1000 cycles, and the electrical lifespan of AC-43 is 1.2-1.5 million cycles. It can be manually operated locally or automatically controlled remotely
